These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lexargo website and service at lexargo.com (the "Service"), operated by Lexargo ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Lexargo is an AI-assisted tool that suggests Harmonized System (HS) / customs tariff codes for a product you describe, together with a verbatim citation from the official tariff text. The Service reasons over official, public tariff sources and mechanically verifies that any exact ("GREEN") code is supported by a genuine citation.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping any access code or credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully; (b) attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or bypass usage limits or security of the Service; (c) resell or redistribute the Service in a way that competes with it without our consent; or (d) submit content you have no right to submit.
Paid plans and usage are described on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd, which handles billing, invoicing and applicable taxes. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
We aim to keep the Service available but provide it "as is" and "as available", without guaranteed uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not liable for any customs penalties, duties, fines, delays, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service or reliance on any suggested code. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the claim.
The Service, its software, and its content (excluding official public tariff texts, which belong to their respective authorities) are owned by us. Tariff data is used from official public sources under their respective licences (e.g. USITC public domain, UK Trade Tariff Open Government Licence, EU Combined Nomenclature, Japan Customs, Bangladesh NBR, WCO HS).
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
